Kelowna Calligraphers' Guild

KCG is a non-profit organization formed in 1990 to allow calligraphers to share their expertise and to introduce calligraphy to the general public.

During our monthly meeting programs, members learn ways to enhance their calligraphy.  As a member you will also have access to our website, vast library, supplies, online newsletters and video recordings.  Our members range from no experience to a high level of expertise in calligraphy.  We explore everything from historical and traditional lettering to modern lettering with a common thread for the love of letters.

We offer our members 4 in-depth workshops per year at an additional cost.  Workshops maybe via ZOOM or in person, depending on the instructor.  Workshops are where you learn the actual hand or scripts (calligraphy) because it takes more time to learn the basic shapes and formation of the letters than we have time in a monthly meeting.

Please feel free to contact us or come to one monthly meeting, as a guest, to learn more about us.

We have participated in the following community events:  Fintry Fair in July, Art on the Avenue, Kelowna Regional Library, Art Walk in Lake Country, Rotary Centre for the Arts, Have a Heart Radiothon.
